I grew up in St Paul Minnesota and learned to draw, paint and sew and quilt when I was young.
My uncle Rich was an artist who had always encouraged me to make time for creating artwork.
My Dad and Grandpa took me fishing before I could walk. I grew up loving the outdoors and being on or near water.
My Mom and Grandma were amazing gardeners

My Mom and Grandma were amazing gardeners. And I spent a lot of time helping them over the years. Now we have coastal gardens at our home, and woodland gardens at our camp.

I am an artist that sketches, paints in water colors and also creates artwork on my iPad in Procreate.
I am inspired by the beauty and small details in nature, flowers and wildlife.
My artwork and designs are available to license on fabric, pillows, tote bags, art prints, greeting cards, journals, wallpaper etc.

I had my first camera when I was 5 years old and have been taking photos ever since.
My Creative Process
My Photos
I take photos while out kayaking, hiking in the woods, walking along the beach and in our gardens.
My initial sketches
From my photos I create pencil sketches, water color art work or Procreate artwork on my iPad to use in my design collections.
